North America's largest privately owned builder to bring thoughtful designs and attractive price points to premiere Arizona golf community
TUCSON, AZ, Nov. 23, 2015 /CNW/ - Mattamy Homes, North America's largest privately owned homebuilder, is excited to announce that the company will be building in one of the premiere golf communities in Arizona: Stone Canyon in Oro Valley.
Mattamy closed on a land purchase from Fairfield Homes at the Enclave at Stone Canyon. Fairfield recently developed an initial phase of 20 homesites and will partner with Mattamy to build an additional 45-50 homesites. The Enclave is located directly adjacent to the Fitness Center at Stone Canyon and is within walking distance to the brand-new Golf Clubhouse and Restaurant, which is due to open in early 2016.
In 2014, Phil Mickelson's golf business, M Club purchased the Stone Canyon golf course. This move was a significant endorsement of the quality and the beauty of Stone Canyon (see http://mickelsonprivategolf.com/).
"The relationship between Stone Canyon and Mattamy Homes is a great opportunity to showcase two high-quality brands in Southern Arizona," says Josh Robinson, Mattamy's Tucson Division President. "We are excited to bring a unique offering and a price point that hasn't been offered before."
Robinson anticipates that pricing will start in the mid-$500s, with product offerings across three floor plans ranging from 2,200 to 3,000 square feet. Pre-sales for the community will begin in early 2016.
Mattamy's entrance into the Stone Canyon community is the latest example of the company's aggressive growth plans in Tucson, and of its confidence in the future of housing in the market.
