Ground broken on latest development in Airdrie: The Gates at Hillcrest
CALGARY, April 14, 2016 /CNW/ - Award-winning builder Mattamy Homes has broken ground on construction and launched sales of its latest community in the City of Airdrie, AB: The Gates at Hillcrest. The Gates will consist of 159 Townhomes and introduces Mattamy's newest product, Manor Townhomes.
Mattamy, which has grown into North America's largest privately owned homebuilder, first entered the Airdrie market in 2009 with the Windsong community (now home to 4,000 residents) and more recently in 2014 introduced Southwinds to Airdrie. The Gates at Hillcrest is located directly east of Southwinds, across the 8th Street corridor.

The Gates at Hillcrest incorporates natural elements and modern design into the community. A natural wetland located in the southwest corner connects to one of the largest retained wetlands in Airdrie. The Gates at Hillcrest is inclusive of the larger community of Hillcrest, which includes pathways, parks and a future elementary school site.
